Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We wanted to tell anyone and everyone that checks our blog to enjoy the wonderful holiday season and especially enjoy the remembrance of Christ at this time and throughout 2008. We have been so blessed this last year with incredible opportunities and look forward to seeing what the Lord will bring in this new year.
We enjoyed a trip to Wisconsin to see family this last week. One of our favorite traditions is to cut down our own Christmas tree as a family (there are always plenty around in Wisconsin!). We'd love to hear from any of you if you have a special Christmas memory or tradition.
Thanks to all for your friendships!

Nice to see you in B&N! We are thankful you had a safe trip to visit you family.

One of my favorite traditions was my Grandpa Smith reading the Christmas story on Christmas Eve. I'm thankful for the Lord choosing to save most of my family!

Happy New Year!

Glad you guys had a great trip to WI and now to DC! =) Don is the one who came into this marriage with lots of traditions, which I have adapted happily. One tradition that is our favorite is we get to open one present on Christmas Eve and it is always a new pair of pajamas. Which we always could use another pair, but also because then Christmas morning, when you get all those lovely bed-head pictures, at least you have some nice PJ's on! I love it!

Happy New Year to you both! I'm glad you could spend Christmas with family. I'm sure you got to see lots of snow up there.
