Well, Rob thinks it's pretty funny that I have never seen a yellow watermelon...and actually, I had never heard of one until today! It kind of throws me off a little bit, but it was actually really good. So I'm wondering, am I the only one that was in the dark about these???

If I opened that, I would have thought it was unripe or rotten. Thanks for introducing me to a new type of watermelon. Did it taste like a regular watermelon?

Tracy - it did taste totally normal - very sweet - although it just feels like it should be red :)
Tell Rob HE'S the strange one :) I've never heard of such a phenomenon. I probably couldn't have eaten it, it looks so strange :)
yea, I have seen it- but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it because it just seemed soo weird!
Nope - never seen on Julie! That's pretty crazy. Where did you buy it from? Did you know it was going to be yellow inside when you bought it?
I found it out in Pungo - at a farm stand. I didn't realize it when I bought it, but apparently Rob did. It was only 2.50 - so I was thinking - what a steal for a watermelon :) Anyways - it was really good.
